Day 02: Tree Planting at Herbal Garden, Faculty of Siddha Medicine

The Day 02 programme of the Faculty Week Programme – 2026 was the Tree Planting Programme, held on 16 June 2026 at the Herbal Garden, Faculty of Siddha Medicine. The event was attended by the Dean, Heads of Departments, Academic Staff, Non-Academic Staff and Students of the Faculty of Siddha Medicine.

The event was graced by the Rector, Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, as the Chief Guest. The programme aimed to promote environmental sustainability and enhance the greenery of the Faculty premises through the planting of herbal and indigenous tree species with the participation of staff and students.
