Advancing Siddha Medicine and Research in Collaboration with the India–Sri Lanka Foundation, High Commission of India, Colombo

The Faculty of Siddha Medicine, Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University, Sri Lanka has received a grant from the India–Sri Lanka Foundation, High Commission of India, Colombo, for the project titled:
“Augmenting Curriculum Development and Research Collaboration with Indian Siddha Medicine Institutions in Tamil Nadu” (awarded on 30.10.2024).

The Faculty extends its sincere gratitude to the India–Sri Lanka Foundation for this generous support. Special appreciation is also conveyed to the Vice Chancellor of Eastern University, Sri Lanka, and the Rector of the Trincomalee Campus for their guidance and approval in implementing this initiative.

Project Activities
01. Inaugural Ceremony (24.02.2024)
The project was formally launched with an inaugural ceremony attended by Prof. (Mrs.) Chandravathany G. Devadason, Rector of the Trincomalee Campus, and Dr. M. A. Nafeel, Provincial Commissioner, Department of Indigenous Medicine – Eastern Province.
Participants included the Dean, Heads of Departments, faculty staff, students, Intern medical officers, medical officers, and representatives from Siddha and Ayurveda hospitals in Trincomalee and Jaffna.
