On 19th December 2024, a Free Siddha Medical Camp and Awareness Program on Healthy Lifestyle was organized in Kanguveli to commemorate World Siddha Day 2024. The event was graced by Professor V. Kanagasingam, Vice Chancellor of Eastern University, Sri Lanka, along with the Dean, Heads of Departments, academic and non-academic staff, and students of the Faculty of Siddha Medicine.
As part of the day’s activities, a tree planting program was also conducted in the vicinity of the Agathiyar Sthapanam, Kanguveli, symbolizing a commitment to environmental sustainability and holistic health in alignment with Siddha principles.
