The Faculty of Siddha Medicine, Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, successfully organized a guest lecture titled “Nature Appreciation Initiative” on 27th February 2024, at the Mini Auditorium, Trincomalee Campus.
The guest lecture was delivered by Professor Sarath Kottagama, a renowned expert in environmental conservation. The session focused on the importance of preserving trees and natural ecosystems, emphasizing the vital connection between nature, human health, and long-term wellbeing. The event aimed to foster environmental awareness among students and staff, promoting sustainable practices that support both ecological balance and community health.
